Mailing lists & contact information

Our list of subscribers to our mailing list were built by members desiring an interest in our retreats and other gatherings. We strictly maintain a valid and compliant list by ensuring the following:

Explicit consent was obtained by the individual receiving names, email addresses or other personal information.
Providing an “unsubscribe” link at the bottom of each email message to opt-out of any future email communications from our organization.
Removal of email addresses from our lists if they generate unwanted network traffic, such as email bounces or auto-replies to members of our lists.
No sharing of our mailing list contents (members’ personal information) with any external entity, not limited to names, emails, phone numbers, addresses, or other member information.

We only process personal information in your contact for other important business purposes, such as billing, administration, security, and product/service improvement. When visitors leave comments on our site or subscribe to our mailing list we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Media

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.
